本季是《异等小队》的最后一季，阿萨吉·文崔斯惊艳亮相。虽然她已在2015年的小说《星球大战：黑暗门徒》中被杜库电死，但本剧导演兼执行制片人布拉德·劳（Brad Rau）说：“我们不想剧透任何事，但希望粉丝知道，关于文崔斯的任何新故事都与《星球大战：黑暗门徒》的事件一致。”（We don't want to spoil anything, but want fans to know that any new storytelling with Ventress will align with the events of Star Wars: Dark Disciple.）
