Rekkon was a respected scholar from the Corporate Sector. He taught at the university on the planet Kalla, and was an expert in organic-inorganic thought interfaces. When Rekkon's political activist nephew Tchaka disappeared, Rekkon formed a covert group searching for missing persons and political prisoners within the Corporate Sector.

Rekkon's work led him to an Authority Data Center on Orron III, and it was there that he learned of Star's End, an Authority prison complex on the remote world of Mytus VII. Rekkon was killed by Torm, a member of his group who double-crossed him. Rekkon's work was eventually carried out by Han Solo, who destroyed Star's End and freed the prisoners, including Tchaka.

Rekkon was a powerfully built human male, with dark skin and tightly curled black hair and beard that was shot through with streaks of gray and white.
