A refinement of a vehicle originally introduced in the first battle of the Clone Wars, the Imperial SPMA-T is a self-propelled medium artillery walker, specifically fitted with a long-range turbolaser cannon. Like the SPHA-T predecessor, the weapons system is modular, and variant SPMA walkers can be deployed with special payloads for specific missions.

SPMA-Ts are artillery units by every definition -- they are essentially walking turrets. The main cannons have a frighteningly long range and require targets to be sensor-painted in order to hit them. These vehicles are slow moving and not heavily armored, and usually are dispatched with an escort.
