The four-engine design trades stability for speed. Its red-painted open-canopied Pod is 2.72 meters long, and the four engines are each 4.5 meters long.

It's likely Quadinaros' "quadra-Pod" racing engines factored in the naming of Ben Quadinaros. His Podracer, like the rest in the race sequence, was realized as a detailed concept model and then rendered as a computer-generated vehicle.
