The Accipiptero was a flying predator native to the jungles of the planet Dagobah.

As the largest reptavian on the planet, its size meant that the accipiptero was only able to fly freely in the upper levels of the jungle, where they preyed upon canopy dwellers, such as Bogwings and Jubba birds.

These creatures rarely ventured to lower levels, and had to stay relatively close to their nests to protect them from creatures who would prey on their young. Ironically the same creatures the accipiptero preyed upon, preyed upon the accipiptero in turn.
它们很少冒险下到丛林的底层，禽蜥不得不呆在离巢穴很近的地方使巢穴免受以蜥禽幼体为食的生物的侵害。显而易见，禽蜥的猎物，也是禽蜥的猎手。
