The small, reptilian alien known as Neva Kee piloted a radically different Podracer in the Boonta Eve competition. Unlike the other vessels entered into the race, Kee's vehicle was not the standard repulsorlift Pod connected to engines via control cables. Instead, the engines and cockpit were one rigid body. Kee started the race from the very rear of the starting grid.

Neva's outlandish Podracer drew the attention of racing officials and adoring fans who deemed the tiny native of Xagobah a maverick that played by his own rules. Kee was a very focused racer, though, and he never let the adoration of his fans get to him. He piloted a Farwan & Glott FG 8T8-Twin Block2 Special.

Since Neva Kee is never really seen clearly in the film, he existed only as a relatively-low resolution computer-generated alien forever seated in his Podracer. The Art Department nonetheless crafted a very detailed concept maquette for Kee.
